My mission is to motivate and inspire students to be respectful and responsible citizens by teaching them to understand others throughout different times and cultures as well as how to apply that understanding with moral consciousness in daily life.
I began my teaching career in 1997 at Blessed Sacrament School. I taught middle school Social Studies, Religion, and Science. In 1999, I moved to St. John the Baptist Middle School where I taught 6th grade World History and 6th grade religion. I have been at Judge since 2001. I started in the religion department. I taught Old Testament, New Testament, Introduction to Faith, World Religions, Church History, Ethics, and Social  Justice. I was also the department chair for 5 years. In 2009, I transferred to the technology department and created/ taught an introduction to technology course to incoming students. In 2013, I was able to move to the history department. I am currently teaching APUSH, AP Psychology, and US History (early and modern)

In addition to my core classes, I teach and moderate the JM Yearbook program. I took over this program at the beginning of the 2006-07 school year. It is listed as an English course but can be counted as an Art credit if requested. The course requires both journalism skills and graphic art design skills, utilizing online art design tools provided by Jostens. Our published book is the Basilean and our students amaze me every year with their unlimited talent.
